Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Wet Area and General-Purpose Mats
Wet area and general-purpose mats help improve comfort, floor protection and safety in workplaces exposed to moisture, spills or frequent foot traffic. They are suitable for wash areas, workshops, service counters, kitchens and other commercial spaces.
Insinc’s range includes cushioned bubble mats, all-purpose matting, Safewalk mats and carpet cord covers for keeping cables more organised across indoor floors.
Which Mat Should You Choose?
Bubble mats and Cushion Foot matting provide a more comfortable standing surface for individual workstations. A black-and-yellow border can also improve visibility around the mat’s edges.
Safewalk mats are suitable for general commercial areas where improved footing is needed. Solid all-purpose matting is better for dry or lightly exposed areas where a continuous surface is preferred.
When Should You Use a Cord Cover?
Carpet cord covers help secure cables running across carpeted floors in offices, event spaces and other indoor areas. Choose a 1000mm section for a small crossing point or the 10-metre length for larger installations.
Keep mats and cord covers flat, clean and properly positioned so they do not create raised edges or trip hazards.
