Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Road, Site and Traffic Safety Equipment

Road and site safety equipment helps mark hazards, control access and improve visibility around construction zones, warehouses, car parks, utilities and temporary work areas. Insinc’s range includes traffic cones, plastic chains, extendable cone bars, warning tapes, floor signs, trench-marking tapes, reflective vehicle tape, bunting, torches and related safety accessories.

Products are available for temporary exclusion zones, underground service identification, floor marking, vehicle visibility and low-light workplace tasks.

Cones, Chains or Warning Tape?

Traffic cones provide visible, movable markers for temporary hazards and restricted areas. Options include plain, reflectorised and collapsible cones in heights from 450mm to 900mm. Extendable cone bars and plastic chains can be used between compatible markers to create a clearer boundary.

Printed warning tapes suit short-term hazard communication, with messages for buried services, electrical cables, asbestos, wet paint, road closures and restricted areas. Floor aisle tape can help mark workplace zones, while grit tape provides a textured surface for selected slip-control applications.

Choosing Equipment for Roads, Sites and Vehicles

Detectable trench tapes help identify buried gas, sewer, water, stormwater and fibre services. Choose the exact wording and detection format required for the utility being marked.

Reflective conspicuity tape, long-load flags and day/night bunting can support vehicle and site visibility. Floor signs are available for wet floors, wet paint and restricted access, while penlights and helmet-mountable torches provide portable illumination.

Select each product according to the site layout, traffic conditions, visibility requirements and workplace safety plan. Some items are obsolete, so contact Insinc for current availability or alternatives.
